The HAMLETS HOA – Governing Documents and Forms

Per Virginia Property Owner Association (POA) law, each Lot owner within The HAMLETS Homeowner’s Association is governed by the following Covenants and policies. Please take a moment to read these documents to gain a better understanding of their purpose and work with us to keep our community beautiful.

The HAMLETS HOA – Architectural Review Board

The Architectural Review Board members meet regularly to review (may request additional information) to accept or deny the proposed changes submitted. All external improvements you wish to make to your property must be in accordance with The HAMLETS Covenants and Rules & Regulations. External changes also require the submission of a completed Architectural Change form with complete supporting plans and documentation.

The HAMLETS HOA- Architectural Notice of Violation

A Notice of Violation (NOVs) is issued to a Lot owner when an external component is in violation of The HAMLETS – Declaration of Covenants, Conditions & Restrictions and/or Rules & Regulations, or when an external maintenance issue places a Lot in non-compliance or violation. If your Lot has been issued a Notice of Violation, the item(s) will be outlined and a time period for remedy will be provided. You can contact members of the Architectural Review Board for clarification or the Board of Directors to appeal. Lots in non-compliance with an ongoing Notice of Violation can possibly be assessed fees and/or be subject to legal action by the HOA.
