Architectural Review Board

Overview

The Association’s Board of Directors shall have the authority to appoint persons and fill vacancies to serve on the Architectural Review Board (ARB). The Board of Directors shall also have the responsibility of oversight of the Architectural Review Board members and their activities. The Association’s Architectural Review Board is comprised of three citizen members on one-year terms.

The Architectural Review Board shall:

  • Execute and provide oversight of the Association’s implemented architectural standards as adopted by the Board of Directors.

  • Provide leadership pertaining to external design, appearance, and improvements thereon in such a manner to remain within the adopted Association standards.

  • Perform yearly Lot inspections and re-inspections from the street as deemed by the Board and pertaining to maintaining compliance with the Association’s architectural standards.

  • Issue architectural Notice of Violations and remedies to a Lot if cited.

  • Submit any Lot owner "appeal" pertaining to a decision of the Architectural Review Board to the Board of Directors.

  • Perform complete Lot inspections as a requirement of preparation of the Association’s disclosure documents during the transfer of a Lot’s ownership as defined within the property owners association (POA) process.

  • Review and either approve, modify, or disapprove all written ARB applications of Lot owners for alterations or additions to their Lots.

  • Assist Lot owners with their questions pertaining to architectural standards.

  • Maintain complete and accurate records.
